(More customer reviews)This lens takes some getting used to, both in the focusing and metering. If you can get through the first couple of weeks of practice you can produce some very unique shots. I use this for portraits and landscapes and love it when people ask "how??".
I am a Photoshop monkey, but this lens creates blur that you just can't duplicate. I love it on my D700 and my D70.
