(More customer reviews)I'm using this armband for a Verizon iphone 4 and so far I've only used it for running. I was afraid of sweat and rain ruining my phone so I got this and I think it'll do just fine. When I take it in the kayak I will buy the waterproof headphones but for now there's no need.
The phone fits in easily and comes out easily without any sliding around once it is inside the case. The screen is easy to read and fully functional through the clear plastic and it feels pretty well made. So far the only issue I've had is that I've found it helps to warm up the case in the sun or by a furnace vent before inserting the phone. This is due to the watertight seal not letting out air as the phone warms up and puffs up the case. If you forget, just burp the case about 5 minutes after inserting the phone. Really no big deal.
The strap seems like it'll fit any arm, though I'm not sure how comfortable it'll be on a bare arm (so far i've only used it while running in 30 degree weather with long sleeves).
Only 4 stars because it's expensive.
