(More customer reviews)This is an amazing vocal mic. I have recorded with two other sub $600 mics, and I love the vocals I did with this one. The upfront characteristic really makes mixing easier, and everything is smooth and clear as a bell. The only drawback with the AT4033 I used was that I had to return it to it's owner. :(
I didn't make notes as to which vocal tracks I used this mic on, but I can tell immediately. The AT4033 vocals stand out in the mix so much better than my other tracks. I really regret not using it for my entire project.
If you're starting out with recording and not sure what to get, this is a great place to start.
