As a gift I bought the unit for my wife and both of us are delighted with it. After many years of not being able to listen to wonderful recordings by Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Bennett, etc. we are now enjoying that kind of music again. The unit is better than we expected. The sound is fine and we are amazed that it plays everything. If you are looking for a super $ 1,000 unit, this is not the one for you. If you are looking for a unit that plays everything and you want to have a lot of fun, I recommend this for you.
